Timeless Tropical Family Home — Miami, FL

A whole-house refresh of a 1950s Miami family home, this project called for a delicate balance: honouring the warmth and character of a mid-century residence while bringing every room firmly and comfortably into the present. New flooring and a completely reimagined kitchen formed the structural backbone of the project, while the decorative approach was guided by the home's setting and spirit.

The design embraces a relaxed tropical sensibility rooted in natural materials — linens, rattan, organic textures — layered against panoramic botanical murals that bring the lush Miami landscape inside. Artisanal decorative objects sourced from independent makers give each room its individuality, while the overall palette of warm neutrals and earthy greens keeps the interior grounded and cohesive. The result is a family home that feels effortlessly timeless: fresh and inviting, never trend-dependent, and deeply suited to the South Florida way of life.
