Greek-Inspired Blue & White Apartment — South Beach, Miami Beach, FL

This project began with an architectural intervention: a lateral conversion of two one-bedroom apartments within a 1970s South Beach building, creating a single, generously proportioned residence with a larger living room and a flexible den that functions equally well as a home office or third bedroom. Once the spatial brief was resolved, the decorative vision took over entirely.

The clients arrived with a clear direction — blue and white — and Elizabeth brought to it the full depth of her knowledge of European decorative history. The interiors draw their primary inspiration from the Greek Islands and from Gio Ponti's celebrated Parco dei Principi hotel in Sorrento: a source reference that brought rigour and romance to what might otherwise have been a simple colour scheme. White furniture and thoughtfully selected rattan pieces keep the spaces light and airy, while the blue tones shift and deepen across rooms, giving the apartment a quality of light that feels unmistakably coastal and timeless.

Services provided: apartment conversion coordination, full interior design, furniture procurement, fabric and material specification, styling.
